Welcome to Her New Chapter… I’m Sara

Hi, I’m Sara, a mother of three and a teacher at heart. Teaching has always been part of who I am, whether it’s in a classroom, at home with my kids, or through life’s everyday lessons. But nothing could have prepared me for the season when my marriage ended. Divorce was never part of my plan, and yet suddenly I found myself facing it head-on.

In those early days, I felt completely lost. Shame weighed heavily on me, and the overwhelm of carrying both my own grief and the responsibility of caring for my children was crushing. As a mom, I worried constantly about how this would affect them. As a woman, I wondered if I would ever feel whole again. And as a teacher at heart, I desperately longed for a guidebook, a step-by-step plan to get me through the valley. But life doesn’t work that way.

Still, even in the darkest moments, God was there. He met me in the brokenness, slowly weaving beauty and redemption into my story. What felt like the end of everything became the beginning of something new; not easy, not instant, but deeply healing and full of hope.

That’s how Her New Chapter was born. It’s more than just words on a page; it’s a reflection of the journey I’ve lived. My heart is to remind you that you are not alone, and that healing is possible for you too. Your ashes can become beauty. Your pain can be transformed into purpose.

Here, you’ll find faith to strengthen you, encouragement to lift your spirit, and practical tools to help you take the next step forward. Because no woman should have to walk this road alone; and together, we can believe for new beginnings.

PSALM 34:18

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
